or like truvy from steel magnolias says "if you can't say anything nice, come sit by me" ;) have a great day!
I'm so with you on this Anne -- a pet peeve of mine. Lovely bloom and wise words.
Anne, I hope you have a wonderful day. Learn from yesterday and make the most of today, it is a new slate. I agree with you, some days our tongue speaks before our minds have time to process our thoughts. I try to practice the "If I don't have something nice to say, don't say anything." As long as I am not overreacting and/or angry, I think I do okay. I like the Proverbs you shared.
Mondays can be rough...had one myself. Thank goodness the Lord covers us with his mercy. Blessings.
Hoping that today is a wonderful day for you. My friend has this saying on her refrigerator "Say something nice behind someones back" I thought it was neat.
heel mooi de foto en de tekst.
I agree that I like Thumpers words better than "Bite your tongue." Sorry you had a bad daThe photo and processing are beautiful.y yesterday.
Hello Ann,Thought I would drop by and say hi!I like what Grandma Barb said "say something nice behind someones back" good food for thought. My day started off not so good with a text that set me wrong. I gave it over to the Lord, and it wasn't 10 minutes later I received another text from that person realizing she was wrong. Our God is good, and He is God!I pray you are doing some better.Blessings!
I love how your words about words and not having a great day is paired with a lovely, lively pink bloom. Nature is a soother of the soul. Hope your week is looking brighter! Come to think of it, my Monday was rocky, but today was better. Onward! Blessings to you.
Thankfully forgiveness gives us an opportunity for do-overs...
Yes to the days of saying the right words, and to the days of forgiveness when we don't. Awesome!
I appreciate all the lovely comments! I'm truly honored that each of you takes time to leave me encouraging words. I've needed several do-overs while going through this surgery and pain. Thankfully, the Lord has blessed me with forgiving family & friends :) Praying y'all are having a blessed week!
Hi Anne! Just read this today and it was perfect timing! I had a bad day yesterday and used my words unwisely. I understand how trying it is when we are carrying an extra load of healing and dealing with our own heavy stuff. Forgiving family is the saving grace in times like these. Praying you will continue to find healing and grace in the journey, Keeping you in prayer sweet friend.Hugs,Kelly
